Ideal for customers that require a complete landscape care package, PLUS Seasonal Color Updates throughout the year.

Total Care Plus Plan prices are driven by the Seasonal Planting area (flower beds) chosen by the customer. The larger the planting area requested, the higher the plan price. For example: $166 + tax per month for very small lots with a flower bed planting area of 25sqft. A plan with the average 7000sqft residential lot in the DFW area (no pool) with a 45sqft flower bed planting area will start at $239 + tax per month. Prices will vary depending on actual landscape area to be serviced, as well as Seasonal Planting area size to be included (defined by customer). A 12 Month Commitment is required for the Total Care Plus Plan in order to cover the upfront costs for Herbicide, Fertilizer and Horticultural Pest Control materials. The plan price is also dependant on the Seasonal Planting area requested in order to cover the cost of soil amendments, mulch and annual plantings each quarter. The following services are included in the Total Care Plus Plan.

Thirty-four (34) visits annually to perform the following tasks:

• Mow lawn areas with mulching mower; providing a clean uniform cut while adding organic matter (mulched grass clippings) back into the turf for added nitrogen. NOTE: Bagged clippings (beyond Spring Cleanup) are subject to additional charge.
• Edge Walkways, Hardscapes and Flower Bed areas throughout your landscape. This provides for a manicured appearance to the lawn’s edge, as well as controls creeping grasses from invading your hardscapes and flower beds.
• Trim grass from around tree and shrub trunks. We use manual clippers rather than line trimmers around the trunks of trees and shrubs. This extra care ensures that your tree trunks are not damaged by the powerful line trimmers that could otherwise open the tree’s protective skin (bark) to insects and disease.
• Clean Flower Bed and Planting areas as needed. This service ensures that our customers have clean, weed-free planting areas for their annuals and perennials.
• Cleanup properties after all landscape areas have been manicured.
• Trim Trees as needed to remove dead branches, as well as raise / open the canopy for better air flow and increased sun light to lower turf and planting areas. Tree pruning is also essential for preventing damage to fence and building structures from low-hanging limbs.
• Prune Shrubs as needed to maintain a clean, manicured appearance.
• Provide required Lawn, Tree and Shrub feedings throughout the year (3 to 5 feedings annually … depending on lawn type). We use Neil Sperry’s Texas Best Fertilizers for your lawn, landscape trees, shrubs and flowers in order to maintain a thick, green, weed-free lawn; as well as provide your trees, shrubs and flowers sufficient nutrients to support vigorous growth throughout the growing season.
• Complete Weed Control. This includes Pre-Emergent treatments for Cool and Warm season weeds, as well as spot treatment of Broadleaved and Grassy Weeds (including Nutsedge) throughout your landscape.
• Monitor and Treat for horticultural pests that would otherwise harm your landscape plantings. Miles Landscaping will only use pesticides as a last resort to prevent harmful insects from damaging your landscape plantings. Instead, we work to ensure a healthy garden and ecosystem that will attract beneficial insects (predators, parasitoids, and pollinators) that have the ability to fend off harmful insects. This will include the use of organic pesticides when necessary, as well as encouraging the planting of vegetation that will attract beneficial insects such as Praying Mantises, Butterflies and Lady Bugs to your garden.
• Four (4) additional visits annually to install Seasonal Annuals each Quarter. Seasonal color updates add a cheery, updated look throughout the year, regardless of season, as well as provide a beautiful environment for beneficial insects and birds such as butterflies and hummingbirds.
• Prepare planting beds with soil amendments during each seasonal color update. We use Soil Amendments that are 100% organic, containing composted cotton burrs, blended with expanded shale. This combination product adds organic matter into the tough Texas Clay soils; providing a rich, fertile medium for any plantings to thrive with less stress and maintenance. The expanded shale absorbs water and releases it slowly into the surrounding soil to allow for a more constant moisture level in the garden. NOTE: Planting bed area sizes (defined by customer) directly impact the price of the plan. Visit our Pricing page for more details and examples.
• Update Seasonal Color in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The plan price includes enough annuals to completely cover a pre-determined planting area size for each season. Visit the Pricing page for more details.
• Apply 3 inches of quality Mulch to all planting areas each year. We use Pine Bark Mulch in order to prevent weeds, maintain a constant moisture level to the planting areas, as well as provide an elegant, manicured appearance to the landscape. Colored mulch may be applied per customer’s request for an additional charge.
• Perform 2 Fall Cleanup visits. We perform a cleanup at the end of November and again toward the end of December in order to cleanup fallen leaves, as well as maintain a tidy appearance to your landscape throughout the winter season. These schedules are chosen to coincide with the manner in which deciduous trees shed their leaves in North Texas. Typically 1/3 of the leaves shed just prior to the 1st average freeze and the final 2/3 shortly after the 1st hard freeze has past.
